Sakuya's Birthday... Konnichiku's version.

Parody of the Dexter's Laboratory "The Laughing" episode.

Sakuya was flying down the road to the Scarlet Devil Mansion... as fast as she could with the weight of milk cartons under her arms, that is.

"Why did Remilia send me to get milk on my birthday?" she wondered. Sakuya was always one to question everything, especially since she was not native to Gensokyo. She had once been Irene Moone, a vampire hunter in Romania, until she stumbled across the Scarlet Sisters, Remilia and Flandre. They'd attempted to turn her into a vampire herself, but eventually made a deal: they wouldn't if she became their maid. From then on, Irene lived at the Scarlet Devil Mansion until it mysteriously ended up in Gensokyo. Wanting to fit in, Irene changed her name to Sakuya.

As Sakuya zoomed closer and closer to the Mansion, she noticed something new - cars outside.
"...Why are there so many cars outside my house on my birthday?" she asked out loud. Most people in Gensokyo didn't even own cars. Sure, the rule was anything forgotten would wind up there sooner or later, but most of those things were old-fashioned, or myths. Nobody in Gensokyo had ever heard of a car. Sakuya assumed Sumireko Usami had told about them.

When she landed at the mansion's front entrance, Sakuya was visibly confused. Meiling wasn't at the gate. Had she been taking a siesta since it was Sakuya's birthday? Nevertheless, she continued to the door, tugging on the door handle to discover it was locked.

"...Why is the door locked on my birthday?" Sakuya said. Was this part of Meiling's shenanigans? Sakuya was going to give her a piece of her mind later. After waiting at the door, Sakuya remembered the backyard entrance.

"It's my birthday, so I'm going in the back," she said as she walked over to the fence and pushed it open.

"Happy Birthday, Sakuya!!!"

A deafening cheer.

The sounds of several crackers going off.

The falling multi-coloured confetti.

The brightly decorated backyard.

The masses of humans, fairies and youkai populating the yard.

The smiles on everyone's faces.

All of those sensations struck Sakuya in unison.

"BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!" she cheered. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!"

Not only were Remilia, Flandre, Patchouli, Koakuma, Meiling, and the fairy maids there; Cirno, Daiyousei, Rumia, and even Reimu, Marisa and Rin Satsuki were invited, as well.

"Happy birthday, you dingbat," Meiling said in the most acidic voice possible, as she gave Sakuya a slap on the back. Sakuya shot Meiling a look, before Remilia admonished the both of them.

"Let's have some cake," she said. Sakuya and Meiling nodded their heads and sighed.

Sakuya and friends had a big chocolate cake, topped with pink frosting and blue candles. Everyone who ate it thought it was delicious.
"Wow! This cake is the ice!" Cirno said. "Who made it?" Rin Satsuki made a gesture towards herself. "I didn't know you were a wonderful baker, Rin!"

"Alright, everyone, it's showtime!" Remilia said, after all the cake had been eaten.
Sakuya could only squee, "Oh my gosh!"
Everyone sat in a circle, waiting for something to happen.
"Oh, someone is here," Remilia cooed in a sing-song voice. "Oh my gosh!" Sakuya squealed again.
A yellow clown car tore out of the bushes and drove an unbridled course round the yard. It parked right in the middle of the circle, and a clown jumped out.
"Hey kids!" he said.
"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH" Sakuya screamed in delight.
The clown kicked things off by performing a trick with a penny. He took the penny, hid it in his sleeve, then spun round, after which he took the penny out from under his hat. Everyone cheered. Everyone except Meiling, that is.
"That's just glorified stage magic," she said. Sakuya shushed her on.
Then the clown imitated some animals. "Do you know what a turtle says?" he asked the audience.
"No," they all said.
The clown tilted his head back, and emitted a sound that closely resembled a dog barking. The crowd all laughed, as the clown threw a pie in his own face.
"Why was six afraid of seven?" he asked.
"I dunno," Sakuya answered.
"Because seven eight nine! Get it? Seven ate nine!" the clown said. Everyone laughed.

That night, Sakuya, Patchouli, Remilia, Flandre, Meiling, and Koakuma sat at the table in the mansion eating dinner.
"And then he said 'Because seven eight nine'!" Sakuya told Patchouli. Everyone at the table laughed. Sakuya knew she had a good party.
