(産霊 is pronounced "Musuhi", not "San Rei")

Translation: The world's oldest Pyramid Power.

The triangle is the symbol of the gods of creation. Symmetry.

Comment: ツナマヨのおむすびとか途中で気持ち悪くなって

食べきれないんだよね。ほんと。

Translation: Sometimes when I'm eating things like tuna mayonnaise rice balls I

feel sick before I can finish it and have to stop. Really.

Origin Sign "Ephemerality 137"

(137 is taken from lifetime of Emperor Jinmu, the first emperor in Japan's history)

Comment: 親は何十万年と生きていたのにね。

人間ってのは儚い、まるではじけとぶ泡の様だ。

Translation: But his parents lived for hundreds of thousands of years.

Humans are ephemeral, like the foam of a breaking wave.

Comment: とはいえ、137年も凄く長く感じる。

きっと健康に良いものばかり食べていたのでしょう。

Translation: Still, 137 years seems like quite a long time.

He must have only ever eaten healthy foods.

Ambition Sign "Buretsu Crisis"

(The "Crisis" in Spell Card 40-43 refers to the crises that nearly discontinued the singular line of descent of the first emperor)
(Emperor Buretsu: 25th emperor in Japan's history, some records say that he was a very cruel one...)

Comment: とても人の名前とは思えない。

誰だかは内緒、なの?

Translation: It really doesn't sound like a person's name.

Was his true identity a secret?

INsc041 No. 041: 野符「将門クライシス」
Ambition Sign "Masakado Crisis"

(Taira no Masakado: A samurai in the 10th century. He plotted treason against the emperor of that time.)

Owner: Keine Kamishirasawa
Stage 3 — Normal
Comment: 妙な逸話が多い将門様。

やっぱり加藤の所為? 将来は加藤の様になろうと思う。

Translation: Sir Masakado, who has a lot of bizarre stories.

Maybe due to Katou? I want to be a man like Katou one day.

Spell Card 042


INsc042 No. 042: 野符「義満クライシス」
Ambition Sign "Yoshimitsu Crisis"

(Yoshimitsu Ashikaga: The 3rd shogun of the Ashikaga shogunate, who tried to step into the emperor's family)

Owner: Keine Kamishirasawa
Stage 3 — Hard
Comment: 義満、足利さん。

ちょっと屈折し始めました、弾道。悪い事は考えない。

Translation: Ashikaga, Yoshimitsu.

The bullets start twisting a little bit here. I don't think that's a bad thing.

INsc043 No. 043: 野符「GHQクライシス」
Ambition Sign "General Headquarters Crisis"

(General Headquarters/ Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers: Office of occupation of Japan after WW2.)

Stage 3 — Lunatic
Comment: そして現在に至る。

もはや手の施し様がない位に崩壊気味。がんばれ日本。

Translation: And so we come to the present day.

It already feels like it's collapsed beyond repair. Good luck, Japan.

INsc044 No. 043: 国符「三種の神器 剣」
Land Sign "Three Sacred Treasures - Sword"

(This spell card is referring to Wikipedia:Kusanagi Kusanagi (草薙剣), one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan.)

Stage 3 — Easy
Comment: 三種の神器の一つ。神話時代のアイテムがあるだけで凄いが、

草刈鎌と大差ない使われ方。

Translation: One of the three divine artifacts. It's amazing because it's a divine relic,

but actually it was used like a simple lawn mower.

INsc045 No. 045: 国符「三種の神器 玉」
Land Sign "Three Sacred Treasures - Orb"

(This spell card is referring to Yasakani-no-Magatama (八尺瓊曲玉), one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan.)

Comment: 三種の神器の一つ。

勾玉の曲線はエロティックさを感じる。さすがは三種の神器。

Translation: One of the three divine artifacts.

There's something erotic about the curve of the jewels. Just what you'd expect from a divine artifact.

Land Sign "Three Sacred Treasures - Mirror"

(This spellcard is referring to Yata-no-Kagami (八咫鏡), one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan.)

Comment: 三種の神器の一つ。鏡は呪術に使われたというが、どちらかと言うと

奇術。呪術は常に真似る事にある、ってじゃあ鏡は呪術か。すまん。

Translation: One of the three divine artifacts. They say mirrors are used for magic, but it's really more

of a trick. Magic is usually about imitation, er, well, mirrors are magic, eh? Sorry.

Spell Card 047


INsc047 No. 047: 国体「三種の神器 郷」
Land Scheme "Three Sacred Treasures - Country"
Owner: Keine Kamishirasawa
Stage 3 — Lunatic
Comment: 三種の神器以外。

これは内緒の全方位弾幕。何故か簡単(ぉ

Translation: Not one of the three relics.

This is the secret barrage-from-all-directions technique. But for some reason it's really easy. (Ah!)

Note: For a safespot in this spell card, you have to wait until it starts, afterward go above Keine (This also works best with Youmu solo).

INsc048 No. 048: 終符「幻想天皇」
Ending Sign "Phantasmal Emperor"

Stage 3 — Easy
Comment: 神々しい光の洪水。

この位の威厳が欲しいところ。

Translation: A flood of dazzling lights.

This is the sort of dignity I'd like to see.

Spell Card 049


INsc049 No. 049: 終符「幻想天皇」
Ending Sign "Phantasmal Emperor"

Stage 3 — Normal
Comment: 神々しい光の洪水。ゆっくり進む光は、何で出来ているか

確認する必要がある。アインシュタイン的に。

Translation: A flood of dazzling lights. I think I'll have to discover just

what the slowly-moving lights are made of. Just like Einstein.

INsc050 No. 050: 虚史「幻想郷伝説」
Pseudo-History "The Legend of Gensokyo"

Stage 3 — Hard
Comment: 幻想郷は史書には残らない。

何故なら、書き留めるのが面倒で誰もやらないからである。

Translation: There is no trace of Gensokyo left in the history books.

That's because it was such a pain to write about it, so nobody bothered.

INsc051 No. 051: 虚史「幻想郷伝説」
Pseudo-History "The Legend of Gensokyo"
Owner: Keine Kamishirasawa
Stage 3 — Lunatic
Comment: 幻想郷は史書には残らない。

でも、慧音は記憶力が良いので覚えている。頭良い。凄く良い。

Translation: There is no trace of Gensokyo left in the history books.

But, Keine has a good memory, so she remembers. She's smart. Very smart.

INsc052 No. 052: 未来「高天原」
Future "Gods' Realm"

(Takamagahara: The place where gods are said to be living in Japanese mythology.)

Stage 3 — Normal (Last Spell)
Comment: 高天原(たかまがはら)は光に満ちていた。

眩しいほどのレーザー。当たり判定出現タイミングが良く判らない。

Translation: Takamagahara was filled with light.

There are so many lasers, it will blind you. It's hard to tell when their hit box is actually active.

INsc053 No. 053: 未来「高天原」
Future "Gods' Realm"

Stage 3 — Hard (Last Spell)
Comment: 高天原(たかまがはら)だと?

「天」は「が」?? それとも「まが」??

Translation: Say, is 天 in 高天原(Takamagahara) pronounced "Ga"?? Or "Maga"??

Future "Gods' Realm"

Comment: 実は簡単だったりもする。

この手のスペルカードは、威力が高い奴らは卑怯だ

Translation: It's actually easy.

Those high-shot-power characters kick this kind of card's ass.
