The Underground Geyser Center (Kanketsusen Chika Sentâ, 間欠泉地下センター)is a recently built facility found in Youkai Mountain. The kappa conduct a variety of experiments and research projects in the area. Utsuho Reiuji can be found here supervising research on nuclear energy.
Its inspiration is the Suwa Lake Geyser Center (Suwako Kanketsusen Sentā, 諏訪湖間欠泉センター), situated near the Suwa Lake Geyser, the most active geyser in Japan. The center also serves as a tourist site as one of the nearby spa's facilities.
