^ It is unclear what Marisa intends, but she might take two points into consideration: Itoigawa Region is famous for Jadeite, which is yielded only in volcanic area. And a great active fault starts from Itoigawa, which generates many earthquakes. Those have been the big problem there. Adding this, it is unknown what the name "Itoigawa" is derived from, because there are several hypothesis. Marisa's interpretation is one of them.
